Jaspey Prelaunch Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Jaspey handles information collected through our prelaunch website, jaspey.com. The Jaspey app has its own App Privacy Policy.

Information we collect

When you join our email list or contact us, we collect your email address and any information you choose to share, such as your name, questions or feedback.

To block automated spam, our signup and feedback forms also store a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address. It can’t be turned back into your address.

Our website is hosted by Vercel, which may process technical information, including IP addresses and request logs, to deliver, secure and maintain the website.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand website traffic, including pages visited, referring websites, browser and device types, and approximate geographic location. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies and provides anonymized visitor statistics.

We also use Google Tag Manager to manage analytics and advertising tools on our website, which may include Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta Pixel. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your visit, such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, referring websites, browser and device information, and IP address. The companies that provide them may combine it with other information they hold about you.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Send launch updates and early-access invitations you sign up for.
• Respond to your questions and feedback.
• Understand website traffic and improve the website.
• Measure our marketing and show Jaspey ads to people who may be interested, including on other websites and apps.
• Maintain the website’s security and operation.

We do not sell your email address or anything else you submit through our forms. Our advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies on our website to measure and deliver ads. Some state privacy laws treat this as “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out as described under Your choices.

Who we share information with

We use service providers to host the website, store email signups and deliver emails. These providers process information as needed to provide their services to us.

Our website is hosted by Vercel. Email signups and feedback are stored by Supabase in the United States. Analytics and advertising partners, including Google and Meta, receive information about your visit through the tools described above.

We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect our users, rights or website.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from launch emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email.

To limit analytics and advertising cookies, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and adjust your ad settings with Google and Meta. You can also opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info.

To request access, correction or deletion of information you have provided, email hello@jaspey.com. We may need to verify your request before completing it.

How long we keep information

We keep email signup information while you remain subscribed and we continue providing the updates you requested. After you unsubscribe, we retain only the limited information needed to honor your unsubscribe request or meet legal requirements.

We keep questions and feedback only as long as needed to respond and address the matters raised. Technical logs are retained according to our hosting provider’s applicable retention settings.

Children’s privacy

Our prelaunch website and email list are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Please do not submit children’s personal information through our signup or feedback forms. For how the Jaspey app handles information about children, see the App Privacy Policy.

If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact hello@jaspey.com so we can investigate and delete it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No website or electronic storage system can guarantee complete security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our prelaunch activities change. We will post updates on this page and revise the effective date. If changes materially affect how we use information already collected, we will provide appropriate notice.
