Jaspey Terms of Use

Effective date: October 24, 2026

These terms apply when you use the Jaspey app and related services (“Jaspey”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Jaspey, you agree to them. Your use of the app is also covered by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms and Apple’s agreement conflict about the app license, Apple’s agreement applies.

Accounts

• Parent and relative accounts are for adults. You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in safe and for what happens in your account.
• Parents create and manage their children’s profiles and logins, decide what relatives can see, and are responsible for their children’s use of Jaspey.
• Only invite people you know and trust into your household. Parents can remove anyone at any time.

Subscriptions

• Jaspey offers a household plan, billed monthly or yearly. One plan covers one household. Kids and invited relatives don’t pay.
• If a free trial is offered, it lasts the stated period. Your plan then starts at the price shown when you subscribed, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase (or when a free trial ends). Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel at any time in your Apple ID settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions) or in Jaspey under Household settings › Plan › Manage. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• If a plan ends, your household’s history stays available, but new chores, allowance and posts pause until a plan is active again.

Money in Jaspey

Allowance, points, balances and rewards in Jaspey are records your family keeps, not money held by us. Jaspey is not a bank and doesn’t hold, send or receive funds. When you pay a reward with Apple Cash, the payment happens in Messages and Apple Cash, under Apple’s terms, between you and the person you pay. You’re responsible for checking the recipient and amount before you send.

Your content

You own what you add to Jaspey, such as chores, goals, posts, comments and birthday pages. You give us permission to store and display it to the people your household’s settings allow, only so we can run Jaspey. You’re responsible for what you post, and for sharing birthday page links only with people you choose.

Don’t use Jaspey to post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful or sexual, to share other people’s private information without permission, to break or probe our systems, or to misuse payments. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Ending your use

You can stop using Jaspey and delete your account at any time in the Account section of Jaspey’s settings. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or to protect other users or the service. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription; cancel it through Apple as described above.

Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Jaspey reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and we aren’t responsible for payments you make through Apple Cash or other services.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Jaspey is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim about Jaspey is limited to the amount you paid for Jaspey in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date and, for important changes, let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using Jaspey after a change, the updated terms apply.
